What is CEEPMS?
The Energy Network’s Community Energy Efficiency Project Management System (CEEPMS) will match building permits with energy efficiency, water conservation programs and rebates in order to raise awareness and adoption of various climate positive initiatives, specifically those in the energy efficiency portfolio.

Who is involved?
The Energy Network administered a competitive solicitation and awarded a contract to Accela Inc., a California-based firm that is one of the most prevalent online permitting vendors in the country. The City of Perris is the pilot city currently deploying the process and is on schedule for a full launch in August 2015.

What’s next?
Next, CEEPMS will track and measure the energy savings and GHG savings from permitted work in the pilot city and gather feedback on how the software is working. Additional cities that are interested in providing input or in obtaining the software should contact The Energy Network.
