Reduce operating costs and add value to your multifamily property with a smarter approach to energy upgrades. Our program makes it easy with free consulting, rebates and incentives.
Program Update: (September 2016)
Due to its popularity, this program is fully enrolled. However, building audit incentives are still available, and rebates for upgrades may become available at any time. Please call (949) 445-6285 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about the assessment incentive or to add your name to the improvement incentives waiting list.
The Energy Upgrade California Multifamily Program, offered by The Energy Network, provides two ways to help you upgrade your property:
- Free Technical Assistance – An energy and green building consultant will work with you to identify cost-effective upgrade measures for your project and connect you to applicable incentive programs, taking time-consuming tasks off your plate.
- Incentives - Two types of incentives are offered for two distinct project phases: Assessment and Improvement. Assessment incentives help offset the cost of an energy audit. Improvement incentives help offset the cost of purchasing and installing energy conservation measures, such as upgrades to lighting, water heating, and HVAC systems.
When paired with innovative PACE financing, you can eliminate the up-front costs of improvements, make the smartest upgrades and begin reaping the benefits immediately. The Program makes it easy to participate during the most convenient time in your property’s lifecycle. Opportunities for improvements can range from a system replacement to a full rehabilitation. The program is based on analyzing how your property as a whole uses energy, and completing integrated upgrades rather than individual measures.
Currently, the program is fully enrolled. However, building audit incentives are still available, and rebates for upgrades may become available at any time. Getting started with an energy assessment ensures a higher priority on the improvement incentives waiting list, should funds become available. Please call (949) 445-6285 or email email@example.com for more information about the assessment incentive or to add your name to the waiting list. Please note that all projects must be completed by Nov. 30, 2018.
